Meet Félix “The Cat” Potvin — a true Toronto Maple Leafs legend and one of the most beloved goaltenders in franchise history! Known for his acrobatic style and iconic feline-inspired mask, Potvin captured the hearts of Leafs fans throughout the early 1990s with his spectacular play between the pipes. He led the NHL in goals-against average during his standout rookie season in 1992–93 and earned a spot on the NHL All-Rookie Team, quickly establishing himself as one of the game’s brightest young stars. He then backstopped the Maple Leafs to back-to-back deep playoff runs, reaching the Conference Finals in both 1993 and 1994 — moments that remain some of the most thrilling in recent Leafs history.
