Santino Marella, known for his comedic timing and underdog persona, enjoyed a successful and entertaining career in WWE. He debuted in 2007, winning the Intercontinental Championship in his very first match by defeating Umaga, thanks to help from Bobby Lashley—a rare feat for a newcomer. Over his career, Santino became a two-time Intercontinental Champion, one-time United States Champion, and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Vladimir Kozlov. Despite being a comic figure, he was consistently popular with fans and delivered memorable moments, such as the creation of the “Cobra” finisher and his near-win in the 2011 Royal Rumble. His ability to balance humor with in-ring skill made him one of WWE’s most beloved mid-card talents during his tenure.
